Luxe Edit Presents, the fashion swap

Luxe Edit is super proud to present its first Fashion swap event for Nairobi!

So what exactly is a clothing/fashion swap event? A clothing swap is a type of swap-meet wherein participants exchange their valued but no longer used clothing for clothing they will use. These kinds of events are popular in America and I think they are a great concept that can be adopted everywhere else in the world.

Clothing swaps offer frugal alternative to shopping or second-hand shops. Beyond being economical, eco-friendly, and an excuse to clean out your closet, The Luxe Edit fashion Swap will be a great way to meet new people, mingle and network and basically have a good ol’ time!

This first series of the swap will be held at Kyuna Crescent in Loresho on the 2nd of December. It will be a lovely afternoon that aims to bring together friendly ladies, all shapes, all sizes so everyone can have a fashionable find. There will be LOTS of Sangria (first cup on the house!),  Canapes (on the house!) and a pop-up shop by the talented Dayo, creator of Uzzi and Asili Boutique.

 

I don’t know about you, but I’m excited!

Tickets go for a mere KSH 800/- If you RSVP  between now and the 21st of November, and will be KSH 1,000 thereafter!
